Our rate for dome raisings, skylight installation, and help starting your roof is $1800/day for two people, with up-to 12 hour work days. It depends on the size and complexity of the project, but most dome raisings take about two days to get the framework and some of the exterior plywood triangles up. For anything after the first two days our general labor rate is $1,500/day.
Travel, food and lodging costs are not included as part of the daily rate pricing.
When it comes to the jobsite, most dome raisings don't need a lot of tools, and we bring some basics with us, but we rely on you to have a few things ready that we'll discuss for your particular job. The most common are:
Scaffolding: Full size, and enough to reach the top of the dome (within 5 or 6 feet from top)
Step ladders: 1-2 step ladders 8-10' high
Extension ladder: 1 ladder ~32', depending on dome size
Impact driver and screws for attaching plywood panels/sheathing and misc.
Basic hand tools for additional helpers, if you have any
Nail gun for attaching plywood panels/sheathing
